Understand the Material

Strenx 700MC D/E is hot-rolled high-strength structural steel for cold forming. The table applies to the SSAB product. Mechanical tests are longitudinal; above 8 mm, minimum yield strength may be 20 MPa lower.

A80 applies only for t < 3 mm and A5 for t ≥ 3 mm. In the bend radius, t is sheet thickness. Check the impact requirements for D and E separately. Do not transfer this table to 700MC Plus or other Strenx products.
