Understand the Material

SSAB DC01 Zero is cold-rolled steel for forming that meets EN 10130 DC01 requirements. The values below are taken from its data sheet dated 7 October 2025; product and test conditions must be retained.

The maximum yield strength increases by 20 MPa for 0.5 mm < t ≤ 0.7 mm and by 40 MPa for t ≤ 0.5 mm. The 280 MPa upper limit is valid for 8 days from the manufacturer’s date of availability. Specimens are tested transverse to the rolling direction. Oiling does not provide permanent corrosion protection.
