Select shank diameter, length, head, point and coating together. Smooth, ring and helical shanks do not provide identical holding behaviour. For collated products, nail-gun compatibility and collation are also important.
Anadolu Çivi gives 2.1–3.8 mm diameter and 30–100 mm length for a bulk-nail family, and 2.8–4.2 mm diameter and 50–160 mm length for a plastic-collated family. These are distinct product ranges, not standard dimensions for every nail or an Alya stock list.
