Pre-painted sheet: paint systems, RAL colours and coating layers
The role of polyester, HDP, PUR-PA and PVDF systems in product specifications.
Sources checked:Understand the Material
Pre-painted sheet is a flat product with primer and finish coatings, for example on galvanised steel. A RAL colour code alone does not specify paint chemistry, coating thickness or corrosion class.
Tatmetal’s catalogue includes SP, HDP, wrinkle-pattern polyester, PUR-PA, PVDF and plastisol systems. It would be incorrect to promise identical coating thickness or service life for every product. Specify front / reverse-side layers and protective film separately.
